Canines are the pointed teeth between the front teeth and first molars. Upper and lower canines may arrive months apart.

What to expect

Upper canines are often 16–22 months.
Lower canines are often 17–23 months.

Simple care

Clean around each new tooth every day.
Use a cool teether for sore gums.
