From our home
The Wonder Weeks calls this changing sensations. In simple terms, your baby is starting to notice more of what they see, hear and feel. This can make them want extra comfort. The timing is only a guide.
What to expect
- Looking at your face for longer.
- Reacting more to voices or loud sounds.
- Wanting to be held more than usual.
What can help
- Stay the safe base: hold, talk softly, keep the room calmer.
- Lower light and noise if baby seems overwhelmed.
- After the fussy patch, watch for a little more looking and listening.
